Volunteer with us

Share your skills, gain new ones. Volunteering’s not just about giving back – it goes both ways. It improves your wellbeing, gives you skills for the future, and helps you make new friends (and memories).

Share your skills. Gain new ones.

Volunteering isn’t just about giving back – it goes both ways. It boosts your well-being, helps you grow, and connects you with others. Whether you’re looking to make new friends, support your community, or build confidence, volunteering with us is a great place to start.

At Brompton & Catterick St Annes Scout Group, our volunteers are everyday heroes. They make a real difference — and have a lot of fun doing it!

You don’t need to be Bear Grylls to get involved. We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. Whether you’re a student looking to boost your CV, a parent wanting to spend more quality time with your child, or someone simply ready to give something back — there’s a role for you.

Volunteer roles are flexible and varied — from working directly with young people in our Beaver, Cub or Scout sections, to supporting behind the scenes as part of our Trustee Board. Every role plays a vital part in making Scouting happen.

We provide training and friendly support to get you started. You show up, get stuck in, and make memories for life.

Make a difference — volunteer today.

Volunteering with Scouts is a journey — and it’s easier than you think!

From your first chat to becoming a full member, we’ll support you every step of the way.
