We’re excited to welcome you to Brompton & Catterick St Annes Scout Group — a vibrant and inclusive Scout community serving Catterick Village, Brompton-on-Swale, Scorton, and the surrounding areas. Here’s an overview of who we are and what we do!

Our Group meets at our Scout Hall in Catterick Village (DL10 7JY) and is run entirely by dedicated volunteers, providing young people with opportunities to have fun, build friendships, and gain valuable skills for life.

🐿️ Coming Soon: Squirrels (Ages 4–6)
We’re excited to announce our plans to start a Squirrel Scouts section in Catterick Village!

Squirrels is a fantastic early introduction to the world of Scouting — packed with fun, games, crafts, and outdoor play, all designed to help our youngest members build confidence, make friends, and start exploring the world around them.

If you’d be interested in a place for your child or in helping us launch this new section, we’d love to hear from you!

🦫 Beavers (Ages 6–8)

Mondays, 6:00–7:00pm | Term time only
Beavers is the perfect introduction to Scouting! Young people enjoy games, crafts, outdoor activities, and more — all designed to help them grow in confidence and teamwork.
Our regular Beaver leaders are Squirrel, Hedgehog, Bunny, and Deer, who create a safe, fun, and friendly environment where everyone is welcome.

🐾 Cubs (Ages 8–10½)

Thursdays, 6:30–8:00pm | Term time only
Cubs take things to the next level with exciting challenges, outdoor adventures, community projects, and skills-building sessions.
They’re guided by our enthusiastic Cub leadership team: Akela, Baloo, and Kaa, who follow the much-loved Jungle Book tradition in Cubs.

🔥 Scouts (Ages 10½–14)

Mondays, 7:30–9:00pm | Term time only
We’re thrilled to announce that our Scout Troop has relaunched! Scouts offer even greater adventures, including hiking, camping, leadership opportunities, and more.
Led by a fantastic team of Sandy, Becky and Adam, who are always enthusiastic about encouraging young people to continue their scouting journey.

We believe in creating a warm, welcoming environment for all our members and their families. If your child is already part of the group, thank you for being on this journey with us. If you’re new, we’d love to welcome you — whether as a young person, a parent helper, or an adult volunteer.

If you have any questions or would like to get involved, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Yours in Scouting,
Team BACSA
