We know that starting something new can feel daunting — especially if your child has additional needs. At Brompton & Catterick St Annes, we’re proud to be part of a welcoming and inclusive Scouting community where every young person is supported to thrive.
We have many BACSA volunteers who have additional training, knowledge, and experience in supporting young people with a wide range of needs and work closely with the Richmondshire District Social Inclusion Team. We’re committed to creating a safe, flexible, and positive environment where everyone can take part fully and confidently.
There’s plenty of flexibility within the Scouts programme, which means we can adapt activities and approaches to suit individual needs and abilities.
If you are considering joining our group, please contact a member of the team to answer any questions you may have. This conversation is just the beginning of our ongoing partnership with you as a parent or carer. We know that needs can change over time, and our team is always here to listen, adjust, and work with you to support your child’s Scouting journey.
With Brompton & Catterick St Annes, no young person or volunteer is left behind — and every adventure is made accessible!
